These terms cover your use of Pixasur, the free image tools at this website. By using the tools, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

The service

Pixasur lets you compress, convert, and resize images and remove image backgrounds in your web browser. It is free to use. There is no account, and no purchase is required. The tools run on your device, so by default your images are processed locally and are not sent to us. The optional Refine feature on the background remover sends the photo you choose to our image-processing provider to produce a higher-quality result, and only when you trigger it.

Your images and content

You keep all rights to the images you process. We do not store your files; images sent through the optional Refine feature are processed and then discarded. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and edit any image you put through the tools.

Acceptable use

Use the tools for lawful purposes only. Do not use them to process content you do not have the rights to, and do not try to break, overload, or misuse the site or work around how it is meant to function, including its rate limits.

Provided as is

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise that they will be uninterrupted or error free, or that a particular result, file size, or level of quality will come out of every image. Always keep your original files.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from your use of the tools, including any loss of data or images. Keeping backups of your originals is up to you.

Third-party links and services

The site may link to other websites or use third-party services, such as analytics. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites and services we do not control.

Changes

We may update the tools or these terms from time to time. If you keep using the site after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
